Melbourne, 6 June 2007

Instra Corporation Pty Ltd has concluded the Australian ENUM trial. Since June 2005, Instra has been one of the only two Tier-2 Registrars participating in the Australian ENUM trial. Instra offered ENUM Registration services through the Registration Portal which can be found online at: http://www.enumregistry.com.

Instra participated in the Australian ENUM Discussion Group (AEDG), which shaped the trial from its early stages.

Instra was a major contributor to AEDG. They were involved in making technical recommendations, but also contributed to multiple policy and regulatory documents, such as the Authentication and Validation of ENUM.

The ENUM trial has officially ended today after a trial period of 24 month. During this time, Instra registered more than one hundred ENUMs.

The Australian ENUM Day (http://www.enumday.com.au), which was held in November 2006 in Sydney, was launched to promote public aware of ENUM technologies. Instra demonstrated the power of ENUM using its trademarked service PhNUM™.

Instra was part of the AEDG Report committee, which prepared a comprehensive final report about the Australian ENUM trial, which is available on the ACMA ENUM Website.
